As a photographer, I find immense joy in spending quiet nights alone, with only the stars as my companions. The thought that the light from these stars has traveled across vast distances—sometimes millions of light years—never ceases to amaze me. I often find myself wondering what kinds of worlds exist on the other side of that light, and whether anyone out there is gazing back at us.
This gallery features a selection of my night sky photography, where I capture the beauty of the landscape beneath the expansive, star-filled sky. In many of the images, you can spot the Milky Way’s core (which, with proper eye adjustment, can be seen with the naked eye) or witness the swirling trails of stars formed by Earth’s rotation. I’ve always felt that this juxtaposition—the tiny world we inhabit against the infinite universe—provides a humbling perspective. These moments in the stillness of the night remind me of the vastness of everything beyond our reach.
